Christmas 2007

Christmas is now approaching fast and we are offering you the chance to have an Organic Christmas with Low Leases Farm. Organic Turkeys from Kirkby Fleetham, North Yorkshire (1 mile from us!), some new lines of goodies and of course your usual Christmas fruit & veg must haves, sprouts satsumas, chestnuts etc.
As has become traditional we will be delivering Christmas special double boxes the week before Christmas – these will have your Christmas essential fruit & veg and chestnuts. We then take our annual week off and are back up and running the first week in the New Year.
We have some pigs going this week so pork from our Saddleback Pigs is available next week. This will have to be ordered by Tuesday 20th Nov. for delivery fresh with your veg next week or book for frozen delivery prior to Christmas. It will be in sealed poly boxes with ice packs that guarantee to keep the meat at the right temperature for at least 24 hours so it can be left in a safe place for you.
Turkeys will be delivered Thursday 20 and Friday 21st December with your veg. Wednesday delivery customers will get a special Turkey delivery on the Friday if required.
Top quality locally reared lamb will be available from w/c 10th December. Supplied in fully butchered lamb halves we can supply fresh 2 weeks before Christmas or you can book your box for frozen delivery later.
Of course we still have our Christmas trees on the farm. Minimum size 6’. Maximum 20’. These are priced at £3 per foot up to 10’. £2 per foot after that. We will deliver trees up to 8’ free within 5 miles of the farm. Collection by arrangement.
Why not kick-start Christmas with a trip to Castle Howard where the house has been decorated in Christmas splendour and their fantastic atmosphere of candles and music. By invitation we will once again be serving our famous hot roast pork sandwiches (as complimented by Antony Worrall Thompson).
